Forklift Boom Extension Attachment Call Us For A Free Quote! 281-342-0200!Forklift boom attachment offers exceptional performance, ease of use and safety features are built into every forklift boom extension attachment. Made from structural steel with welding to meet American Welding Society creates a rugged and long lasting forklift boom that will outlast your forklift Telescopic booms come with an adjustable locking screw (except orbit booms which features a locking detent).
Fork pockets for 3,000 and 4,000 pound capacity models measure 7½”W x 2½”H usable. Usable fork pockets are 7¼”W x 2¼”H for 6,000 and 8,000 pound uniform capacity models. A 36″ safety restraint secures the boom attachment to the fork truck for safe operation. Each boom model includes two lifting hooks.
Most forklifts are designed for lifting and moving pallets about. Boom extensions are used to give the forklift more span and more muscle for heavier loads. Yet, a forklift can do more than just lift and move pallets around. By using one of the many forklift booms available, you can use the forklift for more specific jobs.
Operators of forklifts have to go through a training course. This is designed to ensure that the operator can safely operate the forklift to prevent injury to the operator as well as those working in the vicinity. Forklifts are dangerous and all should understand and comply with all safety procedures.
For employees that will be working with forklift booms must be given additional education to make certain they know how to safely use forklift boom attachments. Accidents have happened from failure to safely operate a boom during the work day. There are quite a few companies that offer training classes on all types of forklift booms. Some businesses offer on-site training where workers can all be trained on the site where they will be working. This gives the trainer a chance to address all safety concerns that the job site will present.

Steel Tilt Truck & Tilt Cart Benefits:
Easy to transport and discard contents when dumped. Balanced design makes dumping of trash, waste, scrap, garbage, chips and debris more proficient. Built of welded 14-gauge (12 gauge on model ERSPTT-15) steel for strength and less weight. Tilt truck rolls effortlessly on (2) rigid and (2) swivel with brakes 5″ x 2″ poly-on-steel casters. Includes a blue baked-in powder coat finish for toughness.
One of the major things to think about when fitting out any industrial business is to have the right material handling equipment in place for workers to be able to do their jobs correctly, and safely. One spot that should never be ignored when stocking a warehouse or store is the right kind of commercial carts for staff to use when moving items around, dumping trash or filling orders.
What Are Some Applications For Tilt Trucks?
The function of a tilt truck is basic but well-designed: it is a big hopper on wheels, perfectly engineered so it can be filled to capacity with trash, bulk products or waste and then simply tilting cart to dump load where it is needed. As fundamental as the design is, it is astonishing how efficient tilt carts are as a way of gathering, transporting and disposing of materials like soil, dirt, refuse, garbage, debris, fertilizer or landscaping mulch Avnix tilt trucks can boost your production, increase ROI, decrease injury to employees and make workers job much safer & quicker. On certain jobs, tilt trucks are the only option that makes good sense. For picking trash from dumpsters in malls or on the street, tilt carts can be pushed around and can simply be emptied into a larger trash skip or dumpster.
Tilt Trucks & Carts Are Easy To Use & Maintain
Tlt trucks & tilt carts are a bit more costly than typical tilt containers, but the extra convenience it is certainly worth it. One of the main features of tilt carts is the ease of dumping, carts have bigger wheels too, so moving them around takes only a smallest amount of effort.
Tilt Carts Are Easy To Use & Require Little Maintenance
If you have a lot of material to transport and dispose of, what are your options? Apart from the tilt truck, you could use a forklift, or even a skid steer loader to help in move material. They are fine for some applications, but your typical tilt truck does not need external power from a forklift or loader to be able to move material, meaning there is no connecting hydraulic lines or securing device to forklift forks. Also our tilt truck dumping feature makes them super easy to empty. Trying to manually lift a full load can be unsafe even when using a dolly.

]]>The post Forklift Mortar Buggies Makes Your Masonry Project Quicker & Safer appeared first on Avnix Construction Equipment Sales 281-342-0200.
]]>Avnix offers specialized masonry equipment for specific jobs can further decrease the time it takes to finish your task. Mortar tubs, for example, can position mortar right next to the scaffold in quick and safe reach of employees, then moved away and stacked at the end of the day using a forklift. If forklift can not access the part of the wall your team is working on, mortar buggies can be used as way to position mortar and tools into hard to reach spaces that would cause your project to slow down. If personnel are operating at heights over 4.5 or 5”, you may want to think about investing in plaster and masonry stands that elevate gear and tools so employees do not have to bend down to reach them. This helps keep up momentum and reduces the danger of slips and falls that can result when people have to fumble for equipment & supplies.
Bigger projects may necessitate use of heavy duty masonry equipment than scaffolds, stands, and mortar tubs. For these applications, you may want to think about using crane forks to move banded blocks or brick pallets. Cranes forks are built with a steady center of gravity that will balance heavy loads and avoid falloffs that could injure personnel or result in material or equipment losses.

]]>The post Rough Terrain Brick Dolly & Block Carts For Sale appeared first on Avnix Construction Equipment Sales 281-342-0200.
]]>A Brick Dolly is designed to help brick layers working in residential or commercial construction projects move brick and blocks into areas where forklift access is either restricted or unworkable. Avnix sees the best application of these brick carts in single floor building projects where forklifts are simply too costly to buy or rent, and where the construction area itself is considerably smaller than that around larger residential homes. Brick dolly’s are amazingly capable tools for this chore, and they are reasonably priced for even the smallest of construction business to invest in.
The brick cart are a great deal safer and more ergonomic to use than a standard brick wheel barrow and allows you to move brick and materials quickly. The motive for this is very straightforward. Bricks and blocks are pre-stacked and banded previous to shipping and delivery. In order to transport them in a wheel barrow, you have to cut the bands, stack the bricks in the barrow, and then hand stack them again after you have unloaded them. This is a waste of time and money that slows down project finishing point.
Brick dolly’s and block carts, on the other hand, facilitate you to transport entire stacks of banded brick and blocks without having to cut the bands. All you have to do is run the forks into the bricks (or blocks) and tilt the brick dolly back. This allows you to pick up as many as two bands of brick at a time and easily transport them to the construction area. It is not required to hand stack or unstack the bricks, so an huge amount of time can be saved. Additionally, it is much easier on your workers back because you do not have to bend down to load and unload bricks like you do when using a wheel barrow.
Brick layer workers basically wheel the brick dolly or block cart to the construction area and stand it up in a upright position with the bricks still held in place by the forks. Employee then cut the bindings at the top and use from the stack how many bricks they needs. For scaffold work, brick and block carts can be positioned right under the scaffold, and bricks can hand stacked on the scaffold as needed.
Avnix sells brick dolly’s and block carts in two different models: the Rough Terrain Brick Cart and the Deluxe Rough Terrain Block/Brick cart. Both feature 8” forks and a heavy duty 1” axle. Each measures 29” in width and rolls easily over any terrain on 4 ply high-float tires. The Rough Terrain model can handle a tilt capacity of 600 pounds, and the Double Back Plate model features an additional pair of 15” forks specifically designed to handle any block package.
Using a handy, ergonomic device such as the Avnix brick dolly and block cart facilitates rapid mobility, safe employees and project completion deadline met on time. Truth be told, many businesses who invest in brick dolly’s and block carts, as well as other space reduction and ergonomic tools, can in fact lower their equipment costs adequately and win more bids by passing their material handling savings on to the general contractor.
